About our Nottingham branch
At the heart of the East Midlands, Nottingham is the city where Nottingham Building Society was founded by philanthropist and Quaker Samuel Fox in 1849 and to this day is the location of our head office. Its excellent links to cities such as London, Leicester and Derby by rail are reciprocated by connections to the major road network via the M1, A52, A60 and A610. The city is also home to Nottingham Forest and Notts County football clubs and the Nottingham Panthers ice hockey team.
Our flagship branch is based centrally, on Upper Parliament Street, close to the Victoria Centre shopping mall and the city’s two universities – the University of Nottingham and Nottingham Trent University. Whether it’s explaining our range of savings options from ISAs to fixed rate accounts or chatting about estate planning, our team are ready to assist. They can help with finding you the right mortgage through our mortgage partner.
The trams on Nottingham’s NET tram network are named after inspirational local people past and present. These include DH Lawrence, Torvill and Dean, Brian Clough, Sat Bains and of course Robin Hood!
