About our Brigg branch
A small market town, Brigg lies on the east-west transport route across North Lincolnshire via the A18. It is situated between Scunthorpe (nine miles to the west) and Grimsby (20 miles east). Its football club, Brigg Town, claims to have been established in 1863 making it the oldest association club in Lincolnshire and among the oldest surviving clubs in the world.
The Brigg branch, based on Wrawby Street, close to shops including a bakery, pharmacy and a café, boasts a professional team on hand to support our customers with their financial requirements. Whether it’s helping you open one of our many savings accounts or chatting about estate planning, our staff are able to offer advice on a range of subjects. They can also help with finding you the right mortgage through our mortgage partner.
The famous composition Brigg Fair by Percy Grainger (and then Frederick Delius) was inspired by other English folk songs written and performed by singers in Brigg in the early 1900s.
