About our Louth branch
Surrounded by swathes of rural landscape, Louth is a market town on the edge of the scenic Lincolnshire Wolds situated close to the A16 (leads north to Grimsby). Much of its town centre is lined with brick buildings from the 17th and 18th centuries. One of its main attractions is Hubbard’s Hills, a park dedicated to the memory of Annie Parhud, reputedly the central figure in a tragic love affair. Around 70% of businesses in Louth are independently owned - a stark contrast from most other UK towns and cities.
Our Louth branch is located on bustling Market Place, near to shops, the market, a bakery, pharmacy, and cafes. Experienced branch staff can help with everything from opening an ISA or junior savings account to finding you the right mortgage through our mortgage partner or financial planning. They will expertly take you through our range of building society services.
The Greenwich Meridian passes through Louth, with plaques on the north and south sides of Eastgate marking the fact.
