About our Worksop branch
The largest town in the Bassetlaw district of Nottinghamshire, Worksop is located 19 miles south east of Sheffield on the edge of Sherwood Forest. Its ease of access to surrounding towns and cities via rail (direct services to Sheffield, Leeds and Lincoln) and road (it is close to the A1, A57, A60 and M1) make it a popular commuter town. National Trust locations Mr Straw’s House and Clumber Park, which is just south of the town, attract many visitors.
Our Worksop branch is based in the town centre on Bridge Place, close to shops, opticians, a travel agent and restaurants. Whether it’s helping you open one of our many savings accounts or chatting about estate planning, our team of staff are ready to help. They can also assist with finding you the right mortgage through our mortgage partner or help you with home insurance.
Worksop is the birthplace/hometown of many notable people, including Iron Maiden singer Bruce Dickinson, golfer Lee Westwood and actor Donald Pleasence.
