Beehive Money now has a new look and name: Nottingham Building Society. Apart from this, your savings accounts are the same, so there's no need to worry. Everything will work as usual.
What's stayed the same?
- Your accounts: your savings or interest rates won't change as a result of the name change.
- Your protection: the Financial Services Compensation Scheme protects your savings up to £85,000.
- Customer care: the same service from us you know and love.

Beehive Money has always been part of Nottingham Building Society. We've now united our online and branch services under one name. That means all our customers are part of one community.

What do you need to do?
If you haven't done so already, update your Beehive Money app now for the best experience. You can update your app in the Apple App Store or Google Play. Other than that you don't need to do anything. You can also use your desktop to access your online accounts. Your login details haven't changed.

Yes. Beehive Money's membership rules carry over. You'll still be a member with the same benefits.
No, just the app or your desktop. Passbooks are only needed for our branch members.
No. If your account has a maturity date, your money will be available to withdraw the day after it matures. It may take a couple of days to reach your nominated bank account.
For example, if your savings account matures on the 30th November (Saturday) you can request to withdraw your money from 1st December (Sunday). We will then process your request on the 2nd December (Monday) and you'll receive your money in your nominated account on the 3rd December (Tuesday) at the latest. Don’t worry – you will still earn interest on the amount you are withdrawing up to the day before you receive your funds.
